In my personal life, I fully enjoy the social connection and activity of dancing. Square dancing with club members brings ongoing joy. During the summer months, you will likely see me at many of the outdoor concerts freestyle dancing with friends. As a child, I had a fascination with sewing, textiles, fashion shows, theater and ice show costume design. As an adult, I pursued a career in the arts as a costume designer & patternmaker. Included in that pursuit, I created exhibits, puppets, and props for Charles M. Schulz (Peanuts, Snoopy) and the Carnegie Science Center, inhouse and outreach science programs in the Pittsburgh, PA region. Creating dioramas with figures provides current opportunities for meaningful storytelling. My extended family consists of animals for which I provide care, in addition to my own Lady Love Bug kitty, Shadow.
My Mission
Empower & Heal
I want my patients to be partners in their own healing. I want them to understand how powerful their minds and bodies really are, and how each organ and symptom is part of a larger system. Healing chronic and intractable ailments takes a certain level of sensitivity, which I’ve honed to treat stubborn conditions with gentle methods.
